Chromium is an open source version of google chrome browser, unlike google chrome, chromium is maintain by developers outside of google but has the same features as chrome.
Chromium is a perfect solution for those who don't want to use proprietary software. Chromium is part of xubuntu/ubuntu repository, so installing chromium on xubuntu is very easy.
How to install Chromium on Xubuntu 18.04
- open command line on xubuntu (simply press CTRL + ALT + T)
- run update command
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install chromium-browser
Once installed, you can open chromium from xubuntu start menu > Internet > Chromium Web Browser.
