Xubuntu comes with firefox as the default web browser, unlike google chrome, firefox does not have a built-in adobe flash plugin player, in fact not just firefox, but other browser such as opera and chromium also lack of this feature.
So you need to find a way to install adobe flash player plugin, if you are going to use web browser other than google chrome to view web page that has flash content. Luckily, we can install adobe flash plugin player on xubuntu.
Step by step how to install adobe flash player on xubuntu 16.04
- enable the 'Canonical Partners' repository on xubuntu, read my previous post about this.
- run apt-get update command
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install adobe-flashplugin
That's it, now you should have flash player installed on your system.
